Other then area of coverage, what is the difference between the NOAA raster east chart and the smaller charts such as NOAA raster northeast or NOAA raster mid-atlantic. Do the smaller charts have more detail, or are they a subset of the raster east chart?

Thanks

Welcome back to the Raymarine Forum Bob,

The LightHouse US NOAA Raster regional Charts differ from the LightHouse US NOAA Raster East Charts only in the total geographical area of coverage and the quantity of memory required to store these charts. Similarly, LightHouse US NOAA Vector regional Charts differ from the LightHouse US NOAA Vector East Charts only in the total geographical area of coverage and the quantity of memory required to store these charts. As the LightHouse US NOAA Raster East Charts and LightHouse US NOAA Raster regional Charts are each offered for the same price (at the time of this response), most of those purchasing the LightHouse US NOAA Raster Charts will purchase a microSD memory card which is sufficiently large enough (32GB recommended) to contain both the LightHouse US NOAA Raster Charts East or West Raster Charts and the LightHouse US NOAA Vector East or West Vector Charts. Doing so would then potentially eliminate the need to switch chart cards into and out of the system.
OK thanks again. I did purchuse both the vector and raster east charts and put them on a 16Gb SD card. It all seems to be working correctly.
