Power On Factory Reset Procedure for Axiom MFDs
To do so,
1) Switch the MFD OFF using its Power Swipe
2) De-energize the power circuit which is supplying power to the MFD
3) Wait 30 seconds
4) Re-energize the power circuit which is supplying power to the MFD
5) Switch the MFD ON using its Power Swipe
6) Continuously swipe your finger across the Power Swipe from RIGHT to LEFT (i.e. the opposite direction from that which would be use to switch the MFD ON) ... the Power Swipe's power button symbol (circle with vertical line at 12 o'clock) will change from red to white to blue
7) When the Power Swipe's power button symbol stop swiping. Shortly afterwards, the Raymarine Recovery screen will be displayed.
8) Using the Power Swipe, select the "Wipe Data / factory reset" menu option
9) Using the Power Swipe, activate the selected option. When complete, the MFD will reboot and display to the Limitations of Use dialog
