[TG11] Creating custom data pages on Lighthouse 2 and Lighthouse 3 MFDs
WORK IN PROGRESS

It is a little-known but pretty cool feature of Raymarine's recent LH2 and LH3 MFDs that it's possible to create custom data pages to display any data that the MFD has available in a very flexible way.

This capability was originally created for our Digital Switching vessel-automation projects, but can in fact be used by anyone, whether you have a digital switching system or not.

NOTE THAT THIS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND RAYMARINE CANNOT CREATE THESE CUSTOM PAGES FOR YOU OR OFFER DETAILED SUPPORT FOR THIS PROCESS.
This is considered a power-user capability and although it can be very powerful, it's not an officially supported feature that we are able to provide the normal backup for.

Anyone played with this at all ? It is pretty fantastic.... I have done a few (first two basic pages attached) on a very basic (Testing) level, and excited to find some graphics to get some cool custom screens.

The additional side-benefit to this is, as a second data page, you can create another custom screen which is retained when switching screens. Right now, if you select another data page the LAST one is displayed when you come back to data pages. This way creates another "default" layout for fast switching from the homescreen.

Question for the Mod, are there any places to find the gauge and icon .png or .svg files? (photo from example project) Preferably US units.

Photos attached. (if they work?)
Hi LimaBavo,

Sorry for the delay replying.
I like your examples, it's good to see this being used and to hear your feedback.

I'll see if I can get some graphics uploaded at some stage. No time just now I'm afraid though.

Regards,
Tom
Thanks Tom!

I think it is a fantastic tool. Will be nice to get those base graphic files to play with.

I have since upgraded to Axiom Pro MFD's. Is there a quicker way to obtain the conversion files? It usually takes 3 or 4 iterations to get things "perfect" so there's a little bottleneck in "testing" since end users can't do the conversion to test the look of each design.

Thanks again!!

L
Hi,

Sorry, no, at present there's no other way to convert the files. This isn't intended as a mainstream feature at this stage of course. Perhaps later on.

Regards,
Tom
