Im wondering if it is possible to hook up my Yanmar 4JHBE to a Seatalkng backbone via a ECI-100 so that I can read the engine data on my MFDs. If this is possible what is the harness device number that I need to purchase to connect to the ECI-100? The engine is from 1990ish..

here to view the ECI-100 Engine Compatibility web page addressing which Yanmar engines are supported for use with the ECI-100. Unfortunately, Yanmar's 4JHBE is not among the engines listed. You may want to consider checking with third party NMEA 2000 engine gateway manufacturers to (ex. Maretron (J2K100 J1939 to NMEA 2000® gateway), Yacht Devices (YDEG-04), etc.).
