Adding a Merc Pro Kicker 15hp

I’d like to update the AP to run the kicker via EZ rod solo, while using the main to steer as well. (Uncle Norm’s Orca fin??)

I was told there was a conversion done previously and it no longer needed the res tank that should be mounted on the transom. Please forgive my ignorance, I’m used to a 14’ john boat for crappie fishing not trolling a Great Lake for salmon.

As near as I can ascertain from the photo of the steering ram's cable, it appears to be a Teleflex 125-8EM (HC5328). The cubic capacity of this steering ram is 21.25 cu. in. (345 cc). This would typically require a Type 2 Hydraulic Pump. Should the currently installed hydraulic pump be operational, then it may be used with a T70162 EV-400 Power (included EV-1 CCU, ACU-400, p70RS control head, and Evolution Cabling Kit).
