Can anyone tell me whether this is any difference in functionality between the IOS apps and the Android apps? I also presume that the speed the apps operate at will be down to the processor in the tablet rather than whether it is an IOS or Android app?

The Raymarine apps are capable of operating on either IOS or Android platforms, there is no difference and their performance will be related to the device onto which they are loaded.
