I beleive I have this wired correctly but the B&g does not recognize having an autopilot. The SPX5 is in the device list. I can setup a route and activate it and then hit track on st70 and it works. My question is should I be able to control the spx5 directly from b&g for +1 +10?.

While it is possible to interface a third party chartplotter / MFD to a Raymarine autopilot and to command the autopilot into Auto, Track, and Standby modes via the autopilot's control head, it will not be possible to command the autopilot into these modes, dodge (+/-1, +/-10), or adjust the autopilots settings via a third party chartplotter / MFD.
