I got an old AIS 250 receiver, on that unit I can connect my VHF antenna. There are outputs for my VHF unit and FM-radio antenna. But I do not find any information in the documentation if AIS250 must be under power when if I I use my VHF and FM-radio. Can I use my VHF and listen to my FM-radio when my AIS 250 is turned off, i.e. the splitting is passive or is it active and I have to have the AIS 250 under power?
Hi Stefan,

The AIS250 should remain turned on since the built-in splitter is an active version - this is to ensure minimal performance losses through the splitter.
