Q2. Is a touch screen, screen protector recommended?
A2. Raymarine has neither endorsed / recommended use of any screen protectors. I would recommend exercising caution with any such screen protectors to ensure that they will not bond to the screen's surface when exposed to tropical temperatures such as a MFD which would experience when exposed to direct sunlight in tropical locations.
