I have a 120 Raymarine GPS connected to a 2002 Raymarine system including a RL70c plus hsb2 chartplotter, 150 course computer, fluxgate compass, RC 530 radar display, and Raymarine auto pilot. I want to remove the 120 GPS and replace it with a NMEA0183 GPS receiver. Any help with a wiring diagram or suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,

George Miller
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum George,

When interfacing a third party GPS sensor supporting 4800 BAUD NMEA 0183 v2.1 or greater communications protocol to a hsb/hsb2/SL Pathfinder Series Chartplotter, Radar, or Fishfinder display,
- connect the NMEA 0183 IN1+ (green) lead of the display's Power/NMEA 0183 Input Cable to the GPS sensor's NMEA 0183 OUT+ lead
- connect the NMEA 0183 IN1- (blue) lead of the display's Power/NMEA 0183 Input Cable to the GPS sensor's NMEA 0183 OUT- lead
- connect the NMEA 0183 GPS sensor's power and ground leads to a switched power circuit and to ground as directed by the GPS sensor's manufacturer.
