Purple Dotted Line is that a bearing line and preferred route?

Within Navionics cartography, a magenta dashed line represents the recommended track. Information concerning any Navionics chart object may be obtained by positioning the cursor over the object, pressing the OK button, and then selecting the appropriate chart object from the displayed dialog.
