Hi
I see the Ais 700 can connect to a PC via USB
Is this just for setup and diagnostics or will it produce a display?
Already have a comar receiver producing a display on PC using Sea Clear and qtVlm
and would like the transmit capability without an MFD or Chartplotter

The primary purpose of the AIS700's USB communications interface is for initialization and diagnostics purposes in conjunction with the ProAIS2 application. The USB driver is installed during installation of the latest ProAIS2 posted with the AIS product software on Raymarine's Product Software web page. The AIS700 must not be interfaced to the PC when installing the ProAIS2 software.
