Hi,

My e7 (n°62354 0130 508) is connected to the input of the VHF RT550 via NMEA 0183.

When I turn on the devices, the VHF doesnt receive the GPS position.
Diagnostic screen shows that GPS position sentences are well sent in the buffer of NMEA 0183 port 1.

Then, I change the NMEA setting :
Home/ Setup/ NMEA/ NMEA input port 1 >> "4800"

I come back to home sceen

and, I change again NMEA setting :
Home/ Setup/ NMEA/ NMEA input port 1 >> "AIS 38400"
And I come back to home screen... and then, VHF receives GPS position !!!


I updated the e7 software (R19-v19.03a_v19.00p_v1.20G_v1.20n_v1.20r_v1.20j_v17.03m-ISO), but no improvement.

Is your RT550 VHF the AIS version?

What colour NMEA cables are you connected to from the e7 to the RT550 AIS?
