I'd like to connect my AIS650 to a N2K network using one of the new adapter plugs rather than an adapter cable. I'm not at the boat right now to check whether the STNG port on the AIS650 is male or female and the manual doesn't seem to indicate this. Pls advise. Tks

The STng port on the AIS650 is a male port with pins. You will need a female STng plug to connect to this.
