What is the best way to measure a distance and bearing between two points? (And the current location is neither).

Thank you for your post.

Currently the ruler feature is not available in Lighthouse 3, however it is due to come out with a software update soon.

A suggestion for measuring the distances between 2 points would be to create a route with 2 waypoints. A waypoint and point 1 and a waypoint at point 2, this will give you the distance.

Thanks - this would indeed be a handy feature in the event of say a GPS failure and you need to use the plotter like a paper chart, and also for route planning.
