I'm considering an i70s display but would like to understand the real world power consumption figures - important for a sailing yacht with limited capacity.

The i70 specs state 1.7 watts - is this the maximum draw at full brightness? Or a figure at a 'typical' brightness setting?

I understand that power draw depends to a large extent on screen brightness for this type of display. Do you have any information on how the power use reduces at lower brightness levels?

Thank you for your enquiry.

The i70 with initially draw 2.4W when first powered up, but will then drop to 1.7W at 100% illumination, this consumption drops to 0.1W at 0% illumination.
