Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Dengle,
Q. What does it take to hook my new ACU-150 installed in spring to my just purchased Lowrance HDS-12-Live. Hardware? Software?
A. From a networking standpoint, Evolution autopilots and the Lowrance HDS-12-Live both support NMEA 2000 communications. The currently installed powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone which is interfacing the Evolution autopilot components to one another will need to be extended to the location of the Lowrance HDS-12-Live, where an additional spur socket will be added. The Lowrance HDS-12-Live may be interfaced to this spur socket via either of the following adapter cables:
- A06045 15.7in (0.4m) SeaTalkng Spur to DeviceNet (F) Adapter Cable
- A06075 39.4in (1.0m) SeaTalkng Spur to DeviceNet (F) Adapter Cable
