I have recently fitted the EV150 autopilot to my boat and would like to use some of the functions available, like patterns etc. If I try to select any of he patterns to follow, the head unit beeps and shows no GPS! It is not very clear in any of the user manuals.

What GPS do I need to get? Does it have to be a Raymarine GPS with SeatalkNG?

Any help would be appreciated.

The simplest option would be to purchase the RS150 and connect it straight in to the STng backbone.

Have you got a chartplotter onboard? Does this have an internal GPS?
