Do these two units have the same chart plotting system other than one being touch screen and one button-controlled? I prefer buttons but the unit will only be used for chart plotting, not sonar or linking or other instruments.

Both Element and Axiom MFDs feature a chartplotter function and both support the same types of cartography. Element S displays do not feature internal fishfinder circuitry and as additional savings in cost.
