My boat came with a X10 autopilot and St70 head. No original rudder sensor. I bought the sensor but it doesn't display on the ST70. Do I need to do something for it to display ?
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Sea Clef,

The rudder bar (shown beneath the Heading within the ST70 screen drawing below) should be displayed when the autopilot senses that a rudder referenced transducer has been correctly interfaced to Rudder terminals of the autopilot course computer.

It is recommended that power to the marine electronics (including the autopilot course computer) be switched OFF and then ON again. The rudder bar should be displayed automatically by the autopilot. Should this not work, then it would be recommended that a Pilot Factory Reset be commanded, that the Dockside Wizard be executed, and that the autopilot then be sea trialed again.

Should the problem persist, then the rudder reference transducer should be tested. Should no fault be found with the rudder reference transducer, then it would be recommended that the autopilot course computer be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.

Switching power off and back on enabled the rudder sensor bar on the ST70. Thank you!
You're welcome. Please note that if the rudder angle exceeds 30 degrees when the autopilot switched on, then no rudder will be sensed. Should this occur in the future, then switch the autopilot off, move the rudder to approximately midships, and then switch the autopilot on.
