How is a 9 VDC battery connected to the TackTick Remote (purchased 2007)? The built-in battery has 4 leads terminating in 2 connectors. How is a 9 VDC battery with 2 connectors used to provide power when the solar cell is not re-charging well?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum skipron,

Should the TackTic Wireless Remote's battery have failed, then it should be replaced with a TA117 Replacement Battery. Raymarine has not specified how to utilize any other types of batteries with these wireless remotes.
