I am hoping to install a type 3 drive into a cramped area. There is plenty of clearance fore and aft and to each side, however I only have 115mm of vertical space to work with. Your drawing shows an 80mm profile but does not indicate where the hydraulic fittings are. Are they mounted on top?
If there isn't enough clearance is it safe to mount the pin connecting the ram end to the tiller arm upside down?
Hi shparrot,

Thankyou for your enquiry.

The hydraulic fittings for the newest version of the hydraulic linear drive are connected to the top of the pump body, the pump or drive should not be fitted upside down.

The mounting pin connected to the tiller can be mounted upside down, but be very aware of the consequences of the drive falling off the pin and disengaging the drive from the tiller bar.

Thanks
Derek
