[LW11] Replacing ST6001 with p70s - Planke - 02-02-20 03:55 AM

Hello,

my setup on board is a ST6001 autopilot instrument, S2/400 course computer (assumed), flux-gate compass and hydraulic steering.

Would the autopilot be fully functional including the calibration of the fluxgate, if I replace the ST6001 with a new instrument?
Will the eS78 MFD autopilot support wwork, if I replace the instrument only?

Course Computer: As I have no documents about the course computer, I am not really sure which type of course computer I have. The system was purchased 2004, the PCB is labeled with "C/Comp 400 23928".

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Ralf

Dear Planke,

Thank you for your post.

If you replace the ST6001 with the P70s control head you will have all of the features including calibration.

The eS78 will continue to support the autopilot feature as the is the S2 pilot, it is our current Evoilution pilot the eS78 will not support.

Many Thnaks
Louise
