[CA11] Charts - A57D - dmitry_budnitsky@hotmail.com - 02-17-20 09:54 AM

Hi,

Question.
Is there any chart product available for Great Lakes, which is possible to install to A57D?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Dmitry,

The A-Series Classic MFDs were designed for use with Navionics Gold and Platinum cartography which had been programmed onto Navionics CF memory cards. Unfortunately, Navionics ceased production of Navionics chart cards using CF memory approximately 1-1/2 years ago. The best resource for any remaining inventory of these chart cards (recommend a NAV+ CF chart card) had been Radar Marine, Inc. (360.733.2012). Should they still have any of these Navionics+ chart cards still be available, then its nautical charts content would need to be reduced to under 2GB to be compatible with an A-Series Classic MFD. Radar Marine can provide this service if they have any remaining Navionics+ CF chart cards in their inventory.

Alternatively, should youi be able to locate one of the long retired A62311 Raymarine Cartography Adapters and should the A-Series Classic MFD be updated with v1.09 or later A-Series Classic MFD software, then a Navionics+ microSD chart card may be used. As with the Navionics+ CF chart cards, its nautical charts content would need to be reduced to under 2GB to be compatible with an A-Series Classic MFD. Navionics may be contacted for assistance erasing and then repopulating the chart card with cartography for the geographic area to be navigated.
