[CA11] Can you fix locking mechanism on seatalk hubs? - JayS - 03-25-20 12:06 PM

My EV-100 stopped putting out a compass reading. After isolating pathways I found that the problem was a faulty wire from the P70s to the seatalk T hub. Once I replaced that, it seemed to work fine.

Problem is, I managed to partially crack the white locking mechanism on the back of P70s. If necessary, can I pop it off and replace it with a locking mechanism from, say, a hub that I have lying around? I can't stomach the thought of having to purchase a new P70s simply because of a cracked lock. Thanks,
JayS

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jay,

It is indeed possible to remove the spur socket locking ring from another device and then install it onto the spur socket of your p70S.
