[CA11] Axiom 9 RV to NMEA 2000 Network - Danijel - 04-02-20 04:35 AM

Hi,

I'm using Axiom 9 RV as fishfinder and now I want to expand functionality and integrate fuel tank NMEA2000 sensor with Axiom 9 MFD.

Axiom 9 has Power/NMEA 2000 cable connects to the rear of the MFD.

My question is, does Axiom NMEA 2000 input/output gives supply for the whole NMEA network or I need to supply NMEA 2000 network from outside power (as it is usual for NMEA2000 Networks).

Thanks
Danijel

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Danijel,

Q1. Does Axiom NMEA 2000 input/output gives supply for the whole NMEA network
A1. Negative. Raymarine MFDs are neither designed to supply power to nor be powered by a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone.

Q2. Do. I need to supply NMEA 2000 network from outside power (as it is usual for NMEA2000 Networks).
A2. Yes.
