Warranty when using certified raymarine installer - Lazybones - 07-29-16 03:33 PM

I recently met with a technician at a West Marine store as I am looking at purchasing new equipment. They said that if I have my equipment installed by a Certified Raymarine Installer, that the warranty would be extended?

Can you please confirm if this is correct? If so, for how long would it be extended? Does it matter who the equipment is purchased from?

Type of Equipment is Quantum radar, e165, Thermal imaging, etc.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Lazybones,

The action of registering ones product within 30 days of purchase that extends the product warranty to 30 days. Should the product be installed by a Certified Raymarine Dealer, then the warranty may additionally include warranty services performed onboard the vessel during the warranty period.
