It is considered a best practice to back up your system's waypoint, route, and track data on a regular basis to prevent accidental loss. It is also considered a best practice to backup this data prior to updating the software of the a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs. Information concerning your system settings may also be beneficial in supporting investigation of a problem. Executing the command sequence (HOME->MY DATA->IMPORT/EXPORT->SAVE DATA->SAVE ALL from the system's Data Master MFD (HOME->SET-UP->DATA MASTER) will permit the following file containing your system's waypoint, route, and track data to be created and saved to your microSD memory card:
----- Raymarine/My Data/Archive_MM_DD_YYYY.fsh (where MM_DD_YYYY is the date stamp)
