RF drain to bonding plate (in common with SSB?) - Cmonster - 12-11-16 01:30 PM

We are installing some new equipment (autopilot, MFDs, wind speed depth, radar) and note that the RF drains should be connected to a bonding plate - according to Chuck's FAQ - 'What should the drain leads from my marine electronics be connected to?'
My bonding plate is used by the SSB radio as part of the copper grounding strip system.
Can this used by the marine electronics RF drain as well or may it cause interference?
Generally, radio wisdom would suggest that we would try to keep delicate marine electronics well away from the radio systems.
Are you suggesting that the RF drain should have a separate bonding plate?
Many thanks
