Can the i70S, p70S, and p70RS support being daisy chained within a single spur? - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 02-02-17 12:09 PM

Can the i70S, p70S, and p70RS support being daisy chained within a single spur?

The NMEA 2000 Standard prohibits daisy chaining devices having a NMEA 2000 communications interface within a single spur. Instead, the NMEA 2000 Standard requires that each device having a NMEA 2000 communications interface be installed via a dedicated spur. As Raymarine will be seeking NMEA 2000 Certification for its latest generation of products having a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 communications interface, these products (ex. i70S, p70S, p70RS, etc.) will not feature two SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 communications ports as were found on earlier Raymarine instrument displays (ex. i50, i60, ST70, etc.) and autopilot control heads (ex. p70, p70R, ST70, etc.).
