Fusion Link Seatalk adapter extension cable? - continouswave391 - 03-20-17 07:03 PM

I have read the FAQ about installing a Fusion stereo and interfacing it with SeaTalk or Raynet.

I have a ud650 fusion and I do have a properly terminated and powered sea talk ng backbone with an open port. The only issue is, the NMEA 2k to seatalk ng cables that you offer do not reach the backbone. Do you offer a longer adapter cable or is there a way I can connect a spur cable to it?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum continouswave391,

In such situations, the backbone would typically be extended to permit the NMEA 2000 device to be interfaced using the available adapter cables. Alternatively and should the total desired cable length of the spur be less than 6m, then a third party (Maretron, etc.) NMEA 2000 cable (DeviceNet (F) to DeviceNet (M)) may be installed between the SeaTalkng to DeviceNet Adapter and the Fusion stereo's NMEA 2000 Cable.
