I have an aSeries MFD on my vessel. What is the max character length for waypoint, route and folder names? The boat is being serviced and I can't check this at the moment. It is running Lighthouse II and supports splitting the screen in two. The boat is a 2015 Sea Ray 330 Sundance.

A. The number of characters permitted within waypoint, route, track, and folder names for the a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs is sixteen characters. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing constrains for waypoint, route, group/folder, and track names and waypoint comments.
