I have another question regarding the A80440 Remote Card Reader for the Axiom unit. While I am awaiting the release of this accessory, I am installing a Axiom 9 next week with Navionics card.

When I install the Navionics card in the back of the unit, once I receive the Card Reader, would I need to remove the SD card from the rear of the unit and keep it in the card reader or can the card be kept in the rear of the unit and use the card reader as necessary?

thanks,

Ken

Ken,

The Axiom MFDs are designed to simultaneously support read/write operations to a microSD memory card which is located within the MFD's built-in microSD memory card reader and a microSD memory card which is located within the USB microSD memory card reader. Accordingly, the chart card or other microSD memory card may remain within the Axiom MFD's built-in microSD memory card reader.
