Dragonfly 7 PRO - best shallow readings? - jaymoussy - 03-10-16 09:43 AM

I plan on using a Dragonfly 7 Pro with the stock transom transducer (CPT-DVS?) in very shallow waters.

What is the lowest water depth reading I should get with above setup?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jay,

The minimum depth below the transducer (not to be confused with the depth measured from the surface of the body of water) in which fishfinding products will report depth is typically specified to be approximately 3'. While some may report slightly better performance, this is a good number to work with.
