Raymarine 37STV with Canadian Bell dual satellites (91&82) compatibility. - iplat - 08-22-17 11:11 AM

Hi,

I'm wondering, does it support Bell's receivers, which required to be used with kind of emulation of SW21 to with over from one satellite to another.
It's not DiSeQc at all. It it used some proprietary pulse-code to control the switcher.
I've tried all possible combinations in the settings of the antenna, It's still doesn't react to the receivers's commands.

I'm trying to reach your tech support for last two days, but your voice box is full and you don't even have the number in the menu to support Sat TV systems.

What should I tell to our customer?

Hi,

The Raymarine STV does support Bell Express receivers. Bell receivers are the same as the dish network receivers except they are programmed differently. To switch satellites automatically you would install a MIM #A42195 to handle the task of switching satellites. You can also manually switch the satellite from the front of the ACU. Additionally further support is available though our Canadian office.
