[CA] RCU-3 remote will not pair with Axiom - biggyboy - 09-22-17 08:19 PM
Hi my existing RCU-3 remote will not pair with my new Axiom7, that has the latest software update.
will I be able to use my remote with the Axiom when a future software update comes out?

As you have suggested. LightHouse 3 software does support for the RCU-3 within LightHouse 3 software for the Axiom MFDs. Per the LightHouse 3 FAQ addressing Bluetooth, which may be found here, "Every Axiom and Axiom Pro system has built-in Bluetooth wireless networking. We plan to activate it for use with select accessories like the RCU-3 remote later this year." The features supported by Axiom and Axiom Pro MFDs may be found within the latest version of the Axiom and Axiom Pro Advanced operation instructions posted on Raymarine's web site ... Bluetooth device support is not listed therein.

Hi Chuck - do you know if there is any update on when BT support for the RCU-3 remote will be available? The Rm site said later last year but it is now April this year.

Unfortunately, Raymarine has not identified which LightHouse 3 software update will add support for the RCU-3. However, it is quite likely that support for this accessory within the next two quarterly LightHouse II software updates.

Hi,
Do you know if there is any update on when support for the RCU-3 remote will be available for Axiom (LH3)?
In Lighthouse 3 FAQ is still says: "We plan to activate it for use with select accessories like the RCU-3 remote later this year."
It would be nice to hear if that will happen in 2019, or do we have to wait for 2020?

Raymarine has not yet announced when support for the RCU-3 will be included within a LightHouse 3 software update. That said, many of the remaining gap features are presently planned for introduction in LightHouse 3 by the start of or during the summer 2019 boating season.
