Converting a European 45STV Sateilite TV Antenna for use Sky Mexico - Metxxx69 - 11-30-17 05:48 PM

good afternoon,

I am interested in making a change in my yacht, it is European and it has the Astra 2 satellite, I want to know what I need to get in the Caribbean the Sky Mexico signal, I already have the receivers, but we need to align my Raymarine's antenna 45 STV. let me know that LnB or programming I need to update so that my antenna looks for the SKY MEXICO satellite services.

Thanks

Alejandro Metz

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Alejandro,

The STV45 hardware for European and Sky Mexico antenna are the same. Accordingly, no hardware change is needed. You will need to go into the ACU's set up menu, load the region, and then load the settings for the area where the vessel is located. It is recommended that Sky Mexico be consulted to determine the Skew angle then adjust the LNB on the antenna accordingly. The instructions for changing the skew angle may be found within Section 3.7 Skew Angle of the 37STV, 45STV, 60STV (Gen 2) Satellite TV Installation and operation instructions.
