[CA] Dragonfly 7 Pro Transducer - volfanatic13 - 01-05-18 09:21 PM

Just got a DF 7 Pro....wondering what is the round thing just above the transducer? Maybe a RF choke?
And I am going to mount to trolling motor with correct mounting bracket BUT trying to figure out best way to do this without causing too much bend in the cable. Curious if anyone had any suggestions.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum volfanatic13,

Unlike the CPT-60 transducer which had been introduced with the first generation of Dragonfly fishfinders, the cable of the CPT-DV and CPT-DVS transducers exits from the leading edge of the transducer rather than from the top of the transducer. The round plastic disk molded onto the transducer end of the CPT-DV and CPT-DVS transducer's cable is designed to reduce the chances of having the CPT-DV and CPT-DVS transducer's cable chafe against the hull.
