I have a new Axiom 7 that will be interfaced with older ST60 instruments and a new EV-100. Two questions:
1) Does the Navionics card stay in the MFD, or is it just downloaded after initial power up? 2) Can I transfer waypoints and routes from my existing Garmin 540 with an SD card?

Q1) Does the Navionics card stay in the MFD, or is it just downloaded after initial power up?
A1) The chart card must be present within the MFD's memory card reader when operating the system. Please click here to view a related FAQ addressing this subject which also applies to Axiom MFDs.
