[CA11] Ray 55e Frequencies & Weather - cdiversions - 05-17-18 04:08 PM
I have a Ray 55e VHF. It currently only supports international channels, and does not have access to weather channels. Is there a way for it to support US and weather channels? Note that when I look in the Frequency Band menu item, the only item available is International.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Tom,
Unlike the latest generation of Raymarine VHF radios, the configuration settings of the Ray55e and Ray55 VHF radios cannot be changed to cause the VHF radio to function as the US or European version respectively. However, should the Ray55e be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center, it may be reprogrammed to function as a Ray55, thereby permitting the VHF radio to support US weather channels.
