[CA11] Installation problem routing the GPS cable AIS 700 - epc7405 - 06-28-18 10:23 AM
I am unable to route the cable of the GPS unit that comes with the AIS 700 due to the size of the connector. Can I cut the RG 58 cable and install a new connector.

Raymarine recommends that the cables of any passive GPS antennas for its products not be modified. However, if you should find it necessary to do so, then care should be taken to ensure that the antenna's cable is not shortened and that the TNC plugTNC plug has been properly installed.
