[CA11] ES98, CP200, CP100 guidance - MartynCat - 07-18-18 03:19 AM

Hello,
Have bought a boat with an ES98 unit fitted with a CP100 Downvision transducer. Don't know how. Does it connect directly to the ES98 or could it be connected via a network switch? I have also bought a CP200 Sidevision sonar module (Used)and new transducer which needs is connected to the ES98 head unit. Can the CP200 be connected directly or does it connect to the ES98 through a network switch? What am I missing? Network switch? Cables? Which ones please? Also the CP200 sonar unit is missing its power cable. Where can buy one from please? What is the part number. Thanks.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum MartynCat,

The ax8 MFDs and eSx8 MFD feature internal DownVision sonar circuitry permitting their Transducer socket to be directly mated to a compatible DownVision or CPT-S transducer. The Ethernet Network (RayNet) communications socket of the MFD may be interfaced to a CP200 via an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RayNet (F) Cable. The CPT-200 SideVision transducer will plug directly into the transducer socket of the CP200. A HS5 RayNet Network Switch would only be necessary if both of the MFD's Ethernet Network communications sockets are already in use.
