Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Tolly Sasha,

Please note that the E-Series Classic MFDs other compatible Ethernet based products are not designed to be interfaced to one another using CAT5 cable. Only an assembly constructed from a pair of SeaTalkhs Cables which have been joined with a SeaTalkhs Crossover Coupler or SeaTalkhs Network Switch should be used to interface the MFD's SeaTalkhs port to the SeaTalkhs port of the DSM. Please click here to view additional information addressing troubleshooting communications between a DSM and an E-Series Classic MFD.
