[CA11] Axiom networking using wifi - philduff - 12-31-18 03:26 PM

I have seen this thead discussing sharing over wired network.

Is it viable to use 1 or 2 Axiom MFDs as slaves, connected via wifi to a master Axiom MFD, which in turn is connected to the STng network?
Potentially the master MFD could be connected via wired ethernet to a Wifi router/AP, such that the slaves could also connect to the router.
I'm hoping to share charts and data without wired ethernet to the slaves.

Regards
Phil

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Phil,

Q. Is it viable to use 1 or 2 Axiom MFDs as slaves, connected via wifi to a master Axiom MFD, which in turn is connected to the STng network?
A. Negative. Raymarine's MFDs featuring an Ethernet communications interface(s) are designed to be interfaced to one another via a wired Ethernet network.
