[CA11] Lighthouse 2 MFD with Lighthouse 3 MFD NMEA 2000 - JeepSWAG - 02-11-19 05:04 PM I have an a78 MFD display on my boat. I'm re-powering and will have the ability to integrate my engine data into my network. Instead of using standard gauges, or a proprietary multi function gauge, I would like to do the following; - Purchase an es78 to take over the functions of my current a78 (Plotter, fish finder) - Use my a78 in place of the standard gauges (tach, temps, fuel management etc.) - I will also use an analog fuel gauge and engine manufacturers tach with alarms I like some of the features of Lighthouse 3 and it would be great to be able to use them. I know that via ethernet, I should not run the a78 connected to an MFD running Lighthouse 3. But how about connecting the to the same NMEA 2000 network? Would there be any conflict? I am considering running the es78 as a stand alone device too. Given these options, I'm looking to hear opinions of what the experts would do.
