While a ST6xxx/ST7xxx/ST8xxx autopilot control heads may be used to command an Evolution autopilot into and out of Standby, Auto, and Track modes as a second station autopilot control head (much as a wireless autopilot remote may do), they cannot be used to configure the autopilot's settings. The latter would require that the Evolution autopilot be interfaced to a p70S/p70RS/p70/p70R autopilot control head or MFD running the latest LightHouse 3 or LightHouse II software.
