[CA11] Raymarine chart plotters and Noaa map compatibility. - Niiiad - 04-29-19 05:54 PM

Hello everyone, I'm looking to upgrade plotters on a sailboat and would like to know which, if any, Raymarine plotters can use stock NOAA ENC charts?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Niiiad,

Raymarine's MFDs which are designed for use with LightHouse 3 software (Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL MFDs and eS/gS-Series MFDs), LightHouse II software (a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs), and Element chartplotter fishfinders are all designed to utilize NOAA ENC charts which have been reformatted (LightHouse NOAA ENCs) for use with these products. The entire chart set for the US east coast (to include the Gulf of Mexico and Great Lakes) would likely cost less than a typical lunch at McDonalds. No Raymarine products are designed to support NOAA ENC charts in their native format.
