[DG11] Autopilot upgrade from old CTREK - scottishguy - 05-30-19 09:59 PM

I have a mid 90’s era 44ft sailboat of 10,000kg displacement. The current autopilot is an old Ctrek system which I would like to replace with a system that integrates with my Raymarine Axiom MFD.

The current drive unit is via a 12v pump with a linear hydraulic ram which attaches to the steering quadrant.

What bits do I need to buy please?

HI scottishguy

Thankyou for your enquiry.

The Drive unit can be retained, as long as it is in good condition, the rest of the electronics will need to be replaced.
You will need a p70s control unit, an EV1 heading sensor and an ACU400, ( Which includes a new rudder feedback unit).

The new electronics, referred to as an Evolution autopilot, will interface to the AXIOM through the STng network.

Derek
