[LW11] Is there a DST transducer to replace ST800? - elaurence - 06-20-19 08:38 AM

I have a retractable ST800 depth/temp transducer, and what I believe is a P19 depth only transducer. They connect to an ST60+ tridata display.

Recently the depth is showing as ---. The speed and temp display properly. I checked the wiring and it seems fine, so I assume the problem is the depth transducer.

The difficulty is that the depth transducer is not retractable and so I would have to haul the boat to have it replaced.

I found (and ordered) a DST800 analog ST60+ compatible transducer which does depth, speed and temp in a single device, and I was planning to insert it into the sleeve that the ST but I found that it has a larger diameter (36mm) than the ST800 that it would replace (31mm). (Attached is a picture of the respective blanking inserts showing the different diameters).

Is anyone aware of a DST device with the 31mm diameter, or any other solution that I could implement without having to haul the boat?

Dear eLaurence,

Thank you for your post.

There is not a DST tranducer that will fit in to the housing of the ST transducer, have you considered an inhull depth transducer?

We have the P79 (part number E26001-PZ) that will connect to your ST60+ and sits inside the hull.

Many Thanks
Louise
