[CA11] Axiom7 and forward looking sonar - 2flit - 07-27-19 12:34 PM

We have a SEATALKng network with an Axiom-7, DTS8000V Triducer, ITC5, Wind, EV-100 tiller pilot, and a NEMA2000 and 183 data converter on the buss.

I would like a suggestion for a forward looking sonar... it would be great if the image could be displayed on the Axiom-7 Chartplotter?
What is avaiable for us to use.

The Boat is a Farrier F39 Trimaran currently near Bora Bora and departing for New Zealand next month.
Thanks, John

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum John,

Raymarine does not currently offer any forward looking sonar products and Raymarine fishfinding products are not designed perform as forward looking sonar products. In the past owners of forward looking sonar products (ex. Interphase SE-200, etc.) have interfaced the analog video output of such devices to the video input port of Raymarine systems or to a video encoder to have the MFDs repeat video from such forward looking sonar systems. Unlike Axiom Pro and Axiom XL MFDs, Axiom MFDs do not feature an analog video input port and as such analog video would need to be encoded to be viewed on an Axiom MFD.
